on:Time a tapered ticket taker on the platform of never ending travel
Soul weary or taking flight
Another midnight journey-frightened delight
Wanting only to be near a friend…or the end
Stop on the tracks
Look at the mountains rolling back
Get off and run naked through the blanketed grass-feeling the blades tickle your ass
Laugh without worry or care
Be all that you dare
Stare down the walls-obstacles in disguise-really just opportunities to rise
Travel alone together
Occasionally, or on the regular
Here, there, or anywhere
Just Travel.

on:SEASONS LIKE THIS
Tarantula kisses from fuzzy legs departing tips
Like quick lover’s lips that can’t cover turf fast enough
Warm breeze embraced by fall’s crisp reach around the corner
Cinnamon scent of holiday promise approaching
Overlapping drying sunscreen and bug spray-shelved til’ next time
Outdoor sprinkler laughter now crackles with fire logs spitting on the hearth
Earth turns on another season
Giving us all more reason to celebrate-elevate in unified joy
NYC
Winking sockets of shadow
Architectural giants keeping an eye on the pavement jungle below
Drunken party goers-genius insomniacs
Roaming like ghosts amidst open havens
Ambivalent or happily disgruntled to serve
Music seeps from dusty corners
Hope sparkles at unbreakable heights
Frustration circulated like trash in a mini cyclone
Hot dogs feeding imitations
Amidst pulsating undulations
This is the city that never sleeps even as you do
Wrapping you in its arms
Waiting to bait or sate at each new dawn
You yawn
